Republic Day: How to celebrate the holiday in Astana and Almaty
Tengrinews.kz – On October 25, Kazakhstan will celebrate its national holiday – Republic Day. In honor of this significant day, various cultural and mass events are planned in Almaty and Astana.

Astana
The capital will host more than 100 cultural, educational, sports and social events: including festive concerts, exhibitions, round tables, tournaments in national sports and many other events.
October 23
- 7 PM — Festive concert "Atamekenim" of the pop-jazz ensemble "Zhiger" in the "Zhastar" Palace.
- Opening of new public spaces in the Saryarqa district on Yubileynaya Street, 22, and Zhenis Avenue, 34.
- Celebration in the courtyards on Koshulygululy Street, 17 and 19, in honor of the improvement of the territories.
October 25
- 3 PM — Festive concert programs on the central square and on the territory of the capital's park with the participation of Kazakhstani pop stars and dance ensembles.

October 25-26
- 7 PM — Premiere of the play "Tanakoz" with the participation of the author Mukhtar Shakhanov at the Azerbaijan Mambetov State Drama and Comedy Theater.

- 7 PM — Showing of the play "Gaukhartas" at the Musical Theater of Young Spectators.
Almaty
A number of cultural events dedicated to the Republic Day celebrations are planned in Almaty. These include concerts, performances, exhibitions, an international festival, charity performances and hippotherapy for children with disabilities.
October 23
- 12 PM — Concert "Ak Zhauyn" in the Ihlas Museum of Folk Musical Instruments.
- 12 PM — Charity show "Tiger on an Elephant" in the Kazakh State Circus. 1700 children from low-income and large families, as well as disabled groups of city residents are invited to the circus performance.
- 3 PM — The main gala concert in the Republic Palace. The event will feature the Dos-Mukasan ensemble, the founder of the A'Studio group, Baigali Serkebayev, Honored Worker of the Republic of Kazakhstan Asylbek Ensepov and other artists.
- In the evening — Demonstration Almaty Street Battle at the intersection of Gogol and Panfilov streets with patriotic elements between the city's dance teams.
October 24
- 10 AM — Opening of the exhibition "Tarihi Derek - Eldigimnin Bastauy" in the Almaty Museum.
- 11 AM — Charity event - hippotherapy for children with disabilities on the paddock of the Kazakh State Circus.
- 3 AM — Patriots' March along Dostyk Avenue from Kazybek Bi Street to Abay Avenue. The march will be held with the participation of young Kazakhstanis who will carry the national flags of Kazakhstan.
October 25
- 11 AM — Solemn ceremony of raising the National Flag and mass performance of the anthem at the Skating rink "Medeu". The event will be attended by young people, public figures, deputies, representatives of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan.
- 11 AM — Festive event "Oz Elim" at the Nurgisa Tlendiev Memorial Museum.
- 9 PM — Drone show on Abay Square, in front of the Republic Palace. The show will last about 20 minutes.
- 9:30 PM — Drone show on Astana Square. The show will last about 20 minutes.

- October 23, 12 PM — Concert and awarding of letters of thanks for the Republic Day at the Caspian University.
Almaly District:
- October 23, 12 PM — Festive event dedicated to the Republic Day at the Kazakh National Women's Teacher Training University.
Turksib district:
- October 23, 11 AM — City tournament in the national game "Togyz Kumalak" in the House of Schoolchildren №7.
- October 23, 7 PM — Concert program of the Samruk modern dance theater at the Republican German drama theatre.
- October 25, 5 PM — Gala concert for the Republic Day at the Schoolchildren's House №6.
Nauryzbai district:
- October 24, 12 PM — Festive concert in the Center for Innovative Creativity.
- October 25, 12 PM — Festive concert on the territory of the amphitheater.
Auezov district:
- October 24, 3:30 PM — Ceremony of raising the National Flag and mass performance of the anthem of Kazakhstan in the Bauyrzhan Momyshuly “Zhas Ulan” Republican School.
