'Mama Merkel' cheered by Syrians at refugee centre
Chancellor Angela Merkel won a hero's welcome as she visited a Berlin migrant centre on Thursday, with Syrians cheering and taking selfies as Germany threw open its doors to thousands of refugees, AFP reports.
