Kazakhstan's largest family lives in Almaty oblast. According to KTK channel, a retired couple of Anuar Baissarin and Tuyak Yeskhozhina is raising 110 children. 15 years ago the couple saw a 7-y.o. homeless girl at a street market. They liked the girl so much that they took her home, even though they already had 3 kids of their own. Since then the number of orphans was growing in their house: some came themselves, some were left at the doorstep by their mothers. The big house now looks like a ant hill. Some children draw, some dance and sing in a large playing room, others make lab tests in a study room. "I am the happiest father in this house. Children look you in the eyes. They all have different stories. But in time they come to trust you," the father said. "Without any hesitation I can say I am the happiest woman in the world, because I have so many kids who call me Mother. These six letters encourage me and give me wings. I am the happiest woman," his wife said. Legally Anuar and Tuyak are foster parents to all these children. Their oldest 24 daughters and 12 sons have already got married. They all help their parents support the large family. Local authorities have provided an abandoned kindergarten to the family. Sponsors and adult children help them with food and clothes.
