In the three-minute clip, recorded by 17-year-old MrBeast, the young creator reflects on what his life might look like in the future:

"I’ll have finished high school, gone to college. Probably be doing YouTube as my job, hopefully," he says.

At the time of the recording, he had only 8,000 subscribers on YouTube.

MrBeast also posted a heartfelt message on his Instagram page:

“Hi Me In 10 Years just dropped and it made me want to reflect on how crazy of a journey this whole YouTube thing has been 🥹,” he wrote.

Reaction to the video

Notably, MrBeast also posted his reaction to the old video message. That video has been watched around 5 million times on YouTube.

Fans in the comments didn’t hide their emotions – many said the video deeply inspired them:

“This is unironically the most inspirational video I’ve seen in the past few months.”

“Seeing your old goals completely obliterated is super inspiring. Thanks for sharing this with us.”

“This is legendary. You’ve made history!”

“This video is the best example of what happens when you focus on a clear goal.”

“I guess this proves the whole ‘people overestimate what they can do in 1 year but underestimate what they can do in 10 years’ thing.”
