Tengrinews.kz – National carrier launches additional trains for Republic Day.
This was reported by the press service of JSC "Passenger Transportation".
During the holidays and pre-holiday days, due to the increase in passenger traffic, additional trains have been scheduled that will run on the following routes:
- train №630/629 on the Aktobe - Shalkar route will run every other day from October 22, 2024;
- train №204 on the Astana - Shymkent route will run daily from October 21, 2024;
- train №216 on the Shymkent - Almaty route will run daily from October 22, 2024;
- train №201 on the Almaty - Astana route will run daily from October 23, 2024.
The trains will consist of carriages of various service classes, including compartment and reserved seat carriages.
Also, in the suburban direction, on October 25 and 27, 2024, the route of the high-speed electric train Karaganda - Astana will be extended to the Kurort Borovoe station. The route of electric train №7553/6811/6812/7556 Karaganda - Astana - Kurort Borovoe:
- departure from Astana at 10:40, arrival in Borovoe at 13:15;
- return departure from Borovoe at 14:10, arrival in Astana at 17:00.
In addition, on October 25, 26 and 27, 2024, the composition of electric train №6831/6829/6830/6832 on the route Yereymentau - Astana - Kokshetau will be increased by adding additional cars.
Kazakhstanis with a five-day workweek will have 10 days off in the last month of 2024 and another 11 days off in the first month of the new 2025.
