Almaty-born Gulzhan Moldazhanova got into the rating of Russia's most highly paid top managers in 2011, according to Forbes. 46-y.o. Moldazhanova was ranked 23rd with an annual income of $4 million. Director General of Basic Element that manages the assets of Oleg Deripaska, she turned out to be the only woman among the most expensive CEOs. Moldazhanova graduated from Kazakh State Uniersity in physics. She then graduated from Russian Government's Financial Academy. She started her career in 1995 as a secretary of Alyuminproduct. "Coming to Depikaska's company as a secretary, she made a brilliant career on the positions never held by any woman," the magazine writes. In 2009 she became a Board member of Samruk-Kazyna National Welfare Fund. According to Forbes, the rating of the most highly paid top managers of Russia is led by chairman of VTB group Andrey Kostin with the annual income of $30 million. He is followed by managers of Gazprom and Rosneft Aleksey Miller and Igor Sechin. According to the magazine, they earned $25 million each in 2011.
