The one-time payment for child adoption in Kazakhstan will make $850 starting from 2015, Tengrinews reports according to the Minister of Economy and Budget Planning of Kazakhstan Yerbolat Dossayev. "Starting from 2015 it is planned to introduce a one-time payment of 130 thousand tenge ($850) for Kazakhstan residents who adopt orphaned children," Dossayev said during the presentation of the National Budget for 2014-2016. The payments are expected to total at $5.3 million in 2015-2016. Adoptive parents get an monthly allowance in the amount of 17,310 tenge ($113) per a child in Kazakhstan. Beside the monthly allowance foster parents also receive a salary in the amount of 60-70 thousand tenge ($392-457) (for those who are certificated children's workers) or 30-40 thousand tenge ($196-261) (for those without the specialized education).
