Recently, a video circulated on social media that quickly went viral. The footage shows a young man immediately jumping in to rescue a drowning boy in the Esentai River in Almaty. The rescuer didn't even have time to take off his glasses and bag, instantly diving into the water to save the child.

We found the hero. He turned out to be 25-year-old Alikhan Zhaksylyk, a native of Kyzylorda. He arrived in Almaty on the day of the incident, October 27, to find work, settle in, save money for his father's treatment, and eventually bring his parents over.

Alihan recounted that everything happened around 1:30 PM. As he was walking past the river, he heard cries for help. It turned out that a boy about 10 years old was drowning, and his friend was desperately trying to attract the attention of passersby.
"I ran to help without thinking for a second. At that moment, there was no one around, and I knew I couldn't stand by," he said with a hoarse voice.
After plunging into the cold water, the young man caught a serious cold and spoke with difficulty. However, he never regretted his decision.
During the rescue operation, Alikhan didn't even have time to take off his bag. Inside it were personal belongings that also got wet.

After the incident, the boy's family reached out to the hero. The parents expressed their immense gratitude.
"Two days later, I saw the video of the incident online, which went viral. The boy's parents found me, thanked me, and offered me money for my help, but I refused. The main thing is that the child is okay, and I am glad to be the reason for his well-being," said the rescuer.
After the video spread on social media, many internet users praised Alikhan's courage and determination.
"Human action is not done for reward, but simply because they were raised that way! Kind and compassionate! Well done. We learned that Alikhan is a physical education teacher by profession. He sincerely reached out to all parents with a plea.
"Do not leave your children unattended, especially near water. It can be dangerous, and such incidents can end tragically," the young man warned.

Recall that a video has appeared on social media showing Alikhan jumping into the river without hesitation to save a drowning child. The footage of the incident, captured by witnesses, quickly spread across the internet, and there are already proposals to reward the hero for his actions.
