Omar Samalikov, a citizen of Kazakhstan, has become the 198th winner of Dubai Duty Free Millennium Millionaire lottery in Dubai and also a cash prize of 1 million dollar, Tengrinews reports citing the official website of Dubai Duty Free that organizes the lottery.
The draw was conducted on August 25 in Dubai by Executive Vice Chairman of Dubai Duty Free Colm McLoughlin, Senior Vice President for IT & Logistics Ramesh Cidambi, Senior Vice President for Corporate Communications Salah Tahlak and Vice President for Marketing Sinead El Sibai.
The 1 million dollar winner from Kazakhstan purchased a lucky ticket online on the official website of Dubai Duty Free at 1,000 dirham ($278).
Omar Samalikov, who is also the first Kazakhstani to win the lottery, did not attend the ceremony, but he will be certainly surprised and excited when he learns the news.
Apart from Millenium Millionaire, Dubai Duty Free also organizes Finest Surprise Draws, where its winners receive luxury cars. For example, this time Iraqi national won a new BMW X6 50i Exclusive, while a citizen of the United Arab Emirates living in Dubai became the owner of a new Ducati Monster 821.
