According to published materials, his relatives faced difficulties in transporting the young man’s body back to his homeland. The posts note that the total expenses amount to about 8,000 euros.
We contacted the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for comment. The ministry expressed condolences to the family and friends of the deceased and said that diplomats are providing the necessary support.
“The Ministry of Foreign Affairs expresses its sincere condolences to the family and friends of the deceased. The Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Italy and the competent authorities of Italy are clarifying the circumstances of what happened. Kazakh diplomats are in contact with the relatives and are providing the necessary consular and legal assistance,” the ministry commented.
