In his Address to the Nation, the Head of State stated that upholding law and order in the army, where young Kazakhstanis serve their country, is of utmost importance.
“For soldiers to properly fulfill their duties in the Armed Forces and other security structures, iron discipline must be ensured first and foremost. Parents have entrusted the state with their sons, so the leadership of the army and law enforcement agencies has special responsibility for their health and safety,” Kassym-Jomart Tokayev emphasized.
President Tokayev delivered this address during his annual address to the nation on September 2. The message was held to discuss matters concerning the future political and socio-economic development of Kazakhstan.
Also, The press service of the National Guard recently commented on the situation with a serviceman who suffered a head injury while serving in the army.
