Tengrinews.kz - In the last month of 2024, Kazakhstanis with a five-day workweek will rest for 10 days. We have prepared a calendar of holidays and days off for December, which will help you organize your vacation and possible travel.
December 2024 will give Kazakhstanis not only a festive mood, but also additional days off. The main event of the month will be the celebration of Independence Day on December 16, which this year falls on Monday.
Schedule of pre-holiday days off:
- December 14, Saturday: a working day for those who work a six-day week and a day off for those who have a five-day week;
- December 15, Sunday: a regular day off;
- December 16, Monday: Independence Day (a day off for everyone).
Important - December 30 and 31 will be working days. Those who work a five-day schedule will be able to use the last weekend of the year, December 28 and 29, to prepare for the New Year 2025. Kazakhstanis should plan their time in advance.
December is also rich in professional holidays that are celebrated in various industries:
- December 5 – Advocacy Day;
- December 6 – Prosecutor’s Office Day;
- the third Sunday of December (December 15) – Power Engineer’s Day;
- December 20 – State Courier Service of Kazakhstan Day;
- December 22 – Archivist’s Day.
