Tengrinews.kz - Seismologists recorded an earthquake overnight in the Zhetysu region.
The tremors were registered by the seismic station network of the "National Scientific Center for Seismological Observations and Research" LLP of the Ministry of Emergency Situations on November 5 at 10:58 p.m. Astana time.
"The earthquake epicenter is located within Kazakhstan, 388 kilometers northeast of Almaty," the statement said.
It was noted that no tremors were felt within Kazakhstan.
Earlier, on the morning of November 5, an earthquake occurred in the Almaty region and Almaty city. The epicenter was located within Kazakhstan, 33 kilometers east of Almaty. The tremors were felt at a magnitude of 3 in the city and up to 4 in Talgar.
