Delegations from Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, and China discussed joint efforts to combat transnational crime, extremism, drug trafficking, cybercrime, and human trafficking.

Kazakhstan's Minister of Internal Affairs, Yerzhan Sadenov, led his country's delegation and held bilateral talks with China's Minister of Public Security to strengthen security cooperation.

"Given the growing threats of drug-related crime and cybercrime, the two ministers agreed to coordinate efforts and share information and expertise," stated the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
