Tengrinews.kz - A Boeing 737 operated by S7 Airlines, flying from Russia to China, suddenly began to lose altitude mid-flight.
According to the Telegram channel Babr Mash, the aircraft was en route from Irkutsk to Beijing when a depressurization incident caused a sharp descent, triggering panic among passengers.
"Everyone's ears popped, and it became hard to breathe," the report stated. "Passengers also claimed that most of the oxygen masks that dropped did not work."
The captain announced an emergency descent and prepared for an unscheduled landing. Despite the alarming situation, the pilots managed to land the plane safely, with no injuries reported.
Earlier, a tragedy occurred in Slovenia where three people died as a result of the crash of a small sports plane.
