Former Garry Kasparov's coach is training young Kazakhstan chess-players, Tengrinews.kz reports, citing Samruk-Kazyna press-office. “A training camp under the guidance of Yevgeniy Vladimirov, international Grand Master, former Garry Kasparov's coach, is being held in Astana on April 5-12 to help prepare the young chess-players for the 8th World School Individual Chess Championship that will take place in Romania,” the press-office said. A prominent Russian chess coach Ruslan Sherbakov also takes part in the training of young Kazakhstan chess-players. The leading players such as Dinara Saduakassova, world champion among girls under 14 and Assel Serikbay, world champion among girls under 9 are participating in the training camp. “Our young chess talents will have a chance to strengthen all aspects of their training and obtain the most up-to-date debut knowledge from the prominent world chess coaches. Our children have won 14 medals of different value in Junior World Chess Championships in the last two years. This means that our children are very talented in chess. We hope to see a success in adult professional chess in mid-term period,” Darmen Sadvakassov, international Grand Master and Kazakhstan Chess Federation Vice-President said.
