All the funds raised at the 4th Almaty Charitable Ball will be spent on in vitro fertilization (IVF), Tengrinews.kz reports. The money raised at the ball will be used to pay for 20 quotas to help childless families get children, the ball's organizers said during the first press-conference dedicated to the forthcoming event. Families needing IVF to have children can fill in the questionnaire at the website. About 15% of couples in Kazakhstan are unable to have children. 350 quotas were issued by Kazakhstan government in 2011. One IVF procedure costs 775 000 tenge ($5237). “A commission will be created to select the families. We will choose couples who are not able to pay for IVF on their own, but Almaty Obstetrics and Gynecology Center will recommend us the families as well,” Marat Omarov, Eventica director said. The annual ball will be held on April 14 at Zhailau golf-resort. It will have a rich music program this year. French singer Lara Fabian, Ukranian Arina Domski and Russian starlet Rika Hansen will be the ball's special guests. Kazakhstan tennis professional Zarina Diyas, Kazakhstan singer Luina and Forty million tenge show anchorman Abdel Mukhtarov will appear as starring debutantes of the ball. Debutantes casting started on February 4 and continued for four days. More than three thousand young people applied to dance at the ball this year. After the casting the most beautiful girls and boys of Almaty and Astana will be taught ballroom dances and basis of ethics. Russian actress Tatiana Arntgoltz will conduct the show along with Gedeminas Taranda, head of Russian Imperial Ballet. Marius Stravinskiy who is the most cherished guest conductor of the ball has yeilded his place to Dinara Tlendiyeva, head conductor of Academic Folk and Ethnographic Orchestra this year. The ball tickets cost 75-120 thousand tenge ($507-811) and are available at the Eventica website starting from February 1.
