The number of internet users has increased 20 percent during 2011 in Kazakhstan, Tengrinews.kz reports citing the Statistics Agency of Kazakhstan. There were 53.4 Internet users per every 100 citizens of Kazakhstan in 2011, agency reported. According to the statistics the rate was at 34 per 100 citizens in 2010. The number of internet users per every 100 citizens increased by 20 people last year. In comparison to 2010 the number of Internet users increased by more that a half (by 57% to be exact) in 2011. In 2010 Internet penetration in Kazakhstan made 34% of the country's population, in just one year it increased by almost 20% and reached 53.4% of the country's population.
