In March 2012 the second group of young Kazakh football players will go to Brazil. This was announced on December 6 by the chief football coach of Kazakhstan Bolat Djuasbayev at the press conference in the Ministry of Sport and Tourism, Tengrinews.kz reports. “The project is continueing. Starting next March 26 football players, a coach from Kazakhstan and a coordinator will go for a three-year training course with Ole Brazil. In total, 28 persons will be working and living in Brazil for three years,” the state coach announced. This year promissing candidates had qualifying matches in Shymkent. This was overseen by Thiago Kozloski, he personally shortlisted and selected players. “We will keep working on this. In January we plan to get all together in Almaty; those who could not take part in the qualifying matches in Shymkent, will join us. They include players from Pavlodar, Kostanay, Akmola and North Kazakhstan oblasts,” Bolat Djuasbayev said. The qualifier, according to him, was very tough. Additionally, the shortlist made by the Brazilian matched the list of players selected by the coach of Kazakhstan junior national team, all born in 1997. “I was really pleased,” Djuasbayev remembers. In January all candidates will undergo a medical check and selection, afterwords, those who meet the criteria, will leave for Brazil for three years.
