Chairman of the Board of Samruk Kazyna Sovereign Wealth Fund Timur Kulibayev and President of Nazarbayev University Shigeo Katsu signed a memorandum of cooperation, Tengrinews.kz reports citing the press service of Samruk Kazyna Sovereign Wealth Fund. According to the press-service, the memorandum “provides for interaction in creation of a high-tech industrial platform at the University for scientific research centers and experimental production.” Joint activities of the parties will be focused on involvement of experts into research, as well as implementation of scientific innovations in practical activities of Samruk-Kazyna group of companies. “Besides, innovative educational programs as Master's and Doctor's degrees curriculums, trainings and seminars are planned to be held in Nazarbayev University for the Fund's employees with involvement of the leading educational and research centers,” the press-release states. Students of Nazarbayev University will get an opportunity to practice their skills in Samruk Kazyna companies in return.
