Kazakhstan twin musicians Botagoz and Bulat Tynybekovs will give solo concerts in three cities of Kazakhstan: Karaganda, Astana and Almaty. The concerts will be timed to the 20th anniversary of Kazakhstan independence, Tengrinews.kz reports. First musical evening was already held on September 3 in Karaganda, the hometown of young performers. Violinist Botagoz and cello player Bulat are accompanied by a famous British pianist and professor of Belfast University Sofia Rahman. For a few months the musicians were rehearsing Kazakh national music that they will play during their Kazakhstan tour. Besides Mendelssohn and Janacek, the performers will play sonatas of Uzenbayev and Zhubanov. The duet has already played the masterpieces of Kazakh composers in London, that made a good impression on music-lovers in England. Right now they play Kazakh classical music for violin, cello and piano, but do not preclude adding national instruments like kobyz and dombra. Right now graduates of London Royal Music College constantly give concerts in Europe, while working in Karaganda Philharmonic Hall. Early in their childhood brother and sister Tynybekovs became prizewinners of international contests in Russia, Turkey, Germany, England. “We are always happy to perform in our country and promote Kazakh music. All fans of classical music are welcome to the concert,” Botagoz said. The next concert will be held on September 7 in the Presidential Cultural Center in Astana and on September 9 the musicians will perform at KazakhConcert stage in Almaty. Anybody can come to the concert free of charge.
