Prime-Minister Karim Massimov congratulated the citizens of Kazakhstan on Eid ul-Fitr day in his Twitter . “On this joyous occasion Eid ul-Fitr May Allah bless You with happiness and grace your home with warmth and peace!” he wrote. Eid ul-Fitr is a Muslim holiday that marks the end of Ramadan, the Islamic holy month of fasting. The holiday celebrates the conclusion of the thirty days of dawn-to-sunset fasting during the entire month of Ramadan.
