Launch of Kazakhstan communication satellite KazSat-3 is scheduled for the end of 2013, Interfax-Kazakhstan reports citing general constructor, director of Reshetnev Information Satellite Systems (ISS) Nikolay Testoedov. Testoedov reminded that the contract with Kazkosmos (Kazakhstan Space Agency) was signed on June 20 at air and space exhibition in Le Bourget, France. New satellite KazSat-3 is being created on the base of Express-1000N platform made by ISS. First Kazakhstan satellite KazSat was manufactured by Russian Khrunichev Center.
