Kazakhstan gamers won second place in DotA championship

Kazakhstan gamers of NEXT team won the second place at the international DotA tournament, Director General of NEXT entertainment centers network Aleksandr Poyarel told Tengrinews.kz. In the finals of ASUS Opon Cup-2011 in Kiev Kazakhstan’s team lost 1:2 to Ukrainian team called NAVI. Gamers from NEXT note that their team was formed only two months ago and hasn't yet go a lot of experience of joint gaming. The players received an award, 50 thousand rubles ($1,700). A total of 16 teams from different countries took part in the tournament. ASUS Open is held since 2003. The tournament is officially recognized in the cyber-sport world. In order to get the pass to the tournament, the teams have to win in qualification games in their country. Cyber-sport is considered sports in the US, Russia, China and many European countries.
