Kazakhstan Prime-Minister said during the online-conference at Zakon.kz that entering the Customs Union (CU) is a long-term longsighted political decision. “The issue is well-thought through. It gives new opportunities to Kazakhstan businesses and people,” the Government Head noted. He added that entering the CU creates huge prospects for business development. “Starting from July 1 there is no border between Kazakhstan and Russia anymore. Anyone can move their goods without any customs,” PM said. According to Massimov, entering the CU helps attract investments to Kazakhstan. “Investments require a large market. In our case it is the market of Russia and Belarus,” Massimov said and added that new jobs will be created with attraction of investment to Kazakhstan.
