Massimov met with representatives of universities-partners of Nazarbayev University

Kazakhstan Prime-Minister Karim Massimov met with representatives of universities-partners of Nazarbayev University, the Prime-Minister’s Facebook writes. Foreign partners spoke highly of the speed of creation of Nazarbayev University and confirmed their preparedness for cooperation in provision of higher standards of education quality. In his turn, the Prime-Minister, who is also a chairman of board of trustees of Nazarbayev University, expressed his interest in making the University and the network of Intellectual schools the integrated hub for development and implementation of leading technologies and innovations that will help Kazakhstan’s economy make a huge development step in the post-industrial world. Karim Massimov met with the President of Nazarbayev University Shigeo Katsu, chairman of executive board Aslan Sarinzhipov, provost Anne Lonsdale, chairman of international consulting board Dennis de Tray, provost of Carnegie Mellon University Mark Kamlet, Vice Chancellor for Corporate and Venture Development at Duke University Medical Center and Health System Robert Taber, Vice-Provost of London University Michael Worton, Dean of Division of International Studies of University of Wisconsin-Madison Gilles Bousquet, deputy dean of Fuqua School of Business William Boulding, Central Asia programs executive of Lee Kuan Yew Aigerim Bolat, chief councilor of International Exams Board of Cambridge University John Guy.
