Powers of three Board members of the International Airport of Almaty have been terminated. They resigned . The company elected new members of the Board, Interfax-Kazakhstan reports. Aibol Bekmukhametov, Olga Aristova and independent director Bakhtiyer Kadyrov became the new directors of the Board. The decision was made by Venus Airport Investments B.V., a new shareholder of the airport. The new Board of Directors was elected for a five year term. The airport passed into ownership of Venus Airport Investments B.V. in April. Earlier International Airport of Almaty was owned by Meridian Capital and SAT Infosystems. On April 22 all the company's stock was sold for 12.6 billion tenge ($86.7 million).
