The National Investors Council will be established in Kazakhstan, Tengrinews.kz reports. “In the Strategy-2050 we have defined the local business as the main source of local investments. Thus, I believe it important to increase the role and the status of our Council. I have made a decision to transform it into the National Investors Council of Kazakhstan,” President Nursultan Nazarbayev said at the meeting of the Businessmen Council. According to him, the new status of the Council will be accompanied by creation of standing work groups led by co-chairmen. The Ministry of Regional Development will be its managing authority. “I instruct the government to present a draft of the new regulations and suggestions on the structure of the National Investors Council within one month. We have defined and discussed the new objectives today. The state’s position is to support local entrepreneurs. This is the primary economic objective. I am confident that Kazakhstan entrepreneurs will support these initiatives and increase their contributions,” the President said. By Baubek Konyrov
