Almaty residents will try to get into Guinness World Records by making the longest road-train in the world, Interfax-Kazakhstan reports. The motorists are planning to mark the opening of the car season by setting the record on May 29. As per the organizers, 800 representatives of car clubs will take part in the event. “27 car clubs have already registered. They will be represented in the race (more than 300 cars),” the organizers said. The car season opening will involve performances of stunts, competitions, demonstration of exclusive cars and fireworks. Guinness World Records was founded in 1955 upon request of Guinness Breweries. The Book contains a collection of world records, both human achievements and the extremes of the natural world. The book was first published in Russian in 1989. The Guinness World Records book holds a world record itself as the best-selling copyrighted book of all times and one of the most stolen books from public libraries in the USA.
