Major Chinese telecommunications company Huawei has officially announced its entrance into the Kazakhstan market, Kursiv reports. The company will present its goods in Kazakhstan in January 2013. Representatives of the Chinese giant say that Huawei plans to become one of the leading cell phone producers by 2015. Huawei was established in 1987 by ex-military officer Ren Zhengfei. The company currently has eight regional divisions and around 100 branches around the world. It has research centers in China, the U.S., India, Sweden and Russia. The company has established joint innovative centers with such world’s biggest communications operators as Vodafone Group, BT Group, Telecom Italia, France Telecom, Telefonica, Deursche Telekom. Huawei’s net profit made $1.9 billion in 2011. In the beginning of the year the company’s engineers developed the world’s thinnest smartphone (6.68mm).
