Kazakhstan President has met with head of Gazprom, Tengrinews.kz reports citing the President’s official website.
“Kazakhstan President Nursultan Nazarbayev met with chairman of Gazprom Aleksey Miller. During the meeting they discussed the status and prospects of Kazakhstan-Russian cooperation in oil and gas,” the message states.
They also discussed interaction between KazMunaiGas National Company and Gazprom in production, transportation, processing and sales of natural gas and gas condensate.
Kazakhstan Oil and Gas Minister said at the 7th Eurasian forum KAZENERGY called A World in Transition: Shaping Sustainable Energy Future that Russia might join the third phase of Karachaganak project.
