Transneft confirmed the fact of decreasing the supplies. According to the company’s official representative Igor Demin, this is related to the fact that Kazakhstan still has not signed a document with methods of calculation of export duties for oil and oil products in the Customs Union. “We are concerned about the current situation. We have the capacities for pumping oil, but we act in line with the export schedule made by Russian Energy Ministry,” he said. Transneft notes that the method for calculation of export duties not signed by Kazakhstan is the main issue taken into account at forming the indicative balance of supply volumes of hydrocarbons in the Customs Union countries.
