Tengrinews.kz – Hollywood actor Iain Armitage, best known for playing Sheldon Cooper in the TV series Young Sheldon, has shared his 2025 music recap — and Kazakhstan’s artists made the list.
In his Instagram Stories, Armitage posted a selection of tracks he listened to most on Apple Music in 2025. The top spot went to Kazakh rapper Skriptonit.
Armitage accompanied the post with Skriptonit’s track “16” from the album “Whistles and Papers”.
The actor also shared his most-played albums of the year. Ranked seventh was AYALUM by Kazakh singer Ayau, while Skriptonit’s Fantasy Mixtape, Vol.1 placed tenth.
Other tracks and albums Armitage listened to throughout the year also appeared in his Stories. According to the data, he streamed music from more than 1,000 different artists.
Among them was an album by the vocal-instrumental ensemble Dos-Mukasan, featuring songs such as:
