Libyan and Syrian conflicts can repeat themselves in Central Asia: Head of Russian General Staff

Head of the General Staff of Russian Armed Services General Nikolai Makarov said that armed conflicts of Libya and Syria can possibly repeat themselves in other countries, including Central Asian ones, Interfax-Kazakhstan reports.“The processes going on in North Africa and Middle East can hardly be foreseen. What will happen after? What will the management be like? This should be a signal for all the countries,” Makarov said. He also added that such issues relate to Central Asian countries. “We have to be prepared for everything. That is why we hold trainings,” Makarov noted.
