Kazakhstan oil refineries increased fuel dispatches to Almaty and Almaty oblast, CA-NEWS reports citing press-service of Samruk Kazyna Sovereign Wealth Fund. This has been done to tackle fuel shortage that have been haunting the region for weeks. “AI-92 and diesel fuel are were the shortages were felt the most. The Fund had to urgently revise its fuel supplies directions and arrange for intensive dispatches of additional volumes of light oil products from oil refineries,” the press-service said. Fuel dispatch was increased from 57 to 734 tons a day from Atyrau oil refinery, from 1,066 to 2,282 tons from Pavlodar refinery and from 985 to 1,675 tons a day from PetroKazakhstan Oil Products. Dispatch of diesel fuel to Almaty and oblast was increase as well. According to press-service of Samruk-Kazyna, AI-92 petrol is currently sold without limitations at KazMunaiGas, Sinooil and Helios fuel stations.
