More than one million square meters of housing has been put into service in Astana this year, Tengrinews reports citing the official website of capitals Akimat (Municipal Authorities). "The residential houses of 9 536 apartments with a total floor area of 1.32 million square meters was put into service in Astana in the period from January to November this year," the message said. The average actual cost of the construction per one square meter of the overall area of the house made $720 in the period from January to November 2013 (in January-November 2012 it made $600) in the Kazakhstan capital. And the average actual cost of the construction per 1 square meter of useful space made $945 in the same period (in January-November 2012 the cost made $822). Individual developers have constructed a total of 74,529 square meters of residential housing. The average cost of construction of 1 square meter in buildings constructed by individual developers made $350. The share of individual housing construction in the overall input of the residential housing made 7.2% against 3.8% of January-November 2012.
