Kazakhstan buyers are mostly interested in the real estate in Great Britain, UAE, Bulgaria and France, President of Kazakhstan Real Estate Federation Yermek Musrepov told Tengrinews.kz. According to him, around 10 percent of Kazakhstan citizens own real estate abroad. "Kazakhstan citizens are interested in real estate in London and other European capitals amid the housing prices drop in Europe. Most frequently the housing is bought as an investment and the majority is then rented out," Musrepov said. Real estate on seashores is also very popular, but the fact that the swimming season does not last all-year-round in many countries should also be considered. So this purchase might not be justified," he noted. Meanwhile, real estate in all the countries of the world is sold at Krysha website (the most popular real estate website/paper in Kazakhstan). A 1-bedroom apartment in London with the area of 22 square meters can be bought for $344 thousand, while a 4-bedroom apartment is sold for $2.5 million. A 3-bedroom apartment in the U.S. of offered for $809 thousand and a 4-bedroom apartment in Spain is sold for $360 thousand. The area of this apartment is over 100 square meters. Earlier the experts of EVANS international company made a rating of the most expensive apartments in the world. The housing in London turned out to be the most expensive one with 1 square meter costing 72 thousand Euro. For example, an apartment of 320 square meters can be bought for 23.6 million Euro. The apartment is located in the prestigious central region in a modern building in Hyde Park. Kazakhstan citizens got into the rating of London housing buyers. However, Russians are the most active foreign nationals in buying of premium housing.
