Kyrgyzstan’s debt to Kazakhstan for gas supplies standing at $5 million

Kyrgyzstan’s debt to Kazakhstan for gas supplies makes up $5 million, KazTAG news agency reports. “We owe Kazakhstan $5 million for gas supplies and owe Uzbekistan another $1 million. Debts of Kyrgyz consumers are estimated at about $10 million, with individuals owing about $3.5 million of the $10 million”, Vice Director General of KyrgyzGas Evgenyi Orlenko is quoted as saying. According to him, Kazakhstan supplies gas at $224 per thousand of cubic meters, whereas Uzbekistan – at $290 per thousand of cubic meters.
