12 French companies will not be able to import their commodities at the territory of the Customs Union (CU) countries because of violations of veterinary-sanitary requirements, Rosselkhoznadzor official website writes. With the approval of veterinary services of Belarus and Kazakhstan experts of Rosselkhoznadzor have been inspecting 19 French companies supplying goods to the territory of the CU for 2 weeks. Only 7 companies maintained the right to import goods, 5 of them are milk-processing companies and 2 of them process meat. "Because of detected violations of veterinary-sanitary requirements and regulations of the Customs Union and Russia, 12 companies (9 meat-processing and 3 milk-processing) were temporarily suspended by Rosselkhoznadzor from importing goods to the markets in Russia and the Customs Union starting from October 10, 2011,” the message states. A letter was sent to veterinary service of France requesting investigation of the detected violations.
