Kazakhstan's biggest telecommunications operator KazakhTelecom has introduced a single dial-in number for its reverse charge call service, Tengrinews reports citing the operator's website.
A reverse charge call service enables subscribers to make a call at the called party's expense upon the latter's consent.
From now on to use the service one has to dial 1720 - the single dial-in number - from any telephone supporting tone mode. Then, following the instructions of the voice menu, dial-up the phone number of the called person. After the called person confirms the call, the connection is made. But it the called person rejects the call it will be disconnected.
Using the service requires no subscription or registration at Kazakhtelecom service centers. Moreover, there is no fee or connection charge on it.
