Kazakhstan car-owners will be able to legally buy "cool" plate numbers, Tengrinews.kz reports citing Minister of Transport and Communications Askar Zhumagaliyev. He said at the government meeting that in the nearest future people will be receiving state plate numbers at specialized registration centers. "If a person wants to get a plate number, he may choose any of the available ones. If he wants a 'better' number, he can chose it, but the price will be a little higher," Zhumagaliyev noted. The ministry is currently suggesting to amend the Tax Code and approve the rates for "cool" plate numbers.
