Kazakhstan Government has approved the quotas for employment of foreign labor at priority projects in 2012 and the terms of the permits issue, KazTAG reports. The decree was published in official media on Wednesday, July 25. The decree covers such projects as construction of C section of Kazakhstan-China gas pipeline, linear part of Beineu-Bozoi-Shymkent gas pipeline and the third stage of Zhanazhol gas processing unit. The quota provides for employment of 1,142 people for the C section, including 17 first-category employees, 228 employees of the second category and 897 of the third category. 502 foreign employees are allowed at construction of the linear part of Beineu-Bozoi-Shymkent gas pipeline, including 9 first-category workers, 79 second category and 414 of third category. The quota for employment of 224 foreigners was set aside for construction of the second and the third stages of Zhanazhol gas processing unit. It includes 123 first-category experts, 43 second-category employees and 53 third category workers. The decree came into effect from the date of its official publishing.
