Bulgaria decided to simplify its visa regime for Kazakhstan citizens. Those who already hold a Shengen visa will not need to submit additional documents for a trip to Bulgaria, Tengrinews.kz reports citing press-service of Kazakhstan Foreign Ministry. “The Government of Bulgaria decided to introduce a visa-free regime for holders of Schengen visas, valid visas for long-term stay and permits for stay issued by Schengen countries, as well as Switzerland and Lichtenstein,” the Ministry’s message states. The stay of the holders of Schengen visas in Bulgaria will be limited by the visa term, “but not longer than 3 months per every 6-months period”. Bulgarian authorities hope that such measures will help attract Kazakhstan tourists to the country.
