Tengrinews.kz - The draft amendments to the Tax Code will be submitted to the Mazhilis for consideration by February 20, following discussions, as instructed by Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov.
He stated that this week, discussions will take place in the regions with the participation of entrepreneurs, experts, and maslikhat deputies. Based on the results, the draft amendments will be submitted to the Mazhilis.
"During his meeting with entrepreneurs, the Head of State instructed that tax reform issues be thoroughly discussed with businesses, deputies, and experts. Following these discussions and the necessary approval procedures, the amendments to the draft Tax Code and the accompanying bill must be submitted to the Mazhilis by February 20," Bektenov said at a government meeting.
Previously, President Tokayev instructed the government to further study the issue of the VAT rate at a meeting with representatives of domestic business.
