What can you get for free on National Carrier trains? The press service of JSC "Passenger Transportation" answered this question.
On long-distance trains, passengers have access to several free services depending on the type of train:
Free water
In standard trains, passengers are provided with hot water for tea. In Talgo trains, coolers with warm and cold drinking water are installed.
Hygiene products
According to the National Carrier, free hygiene products such as toilet paper and soap are available in each toilet.
Microwave
The company reported that standard trains are equipped with microwave ovens for heating food.
Free access to the multimedia portal
"On all trains, passengers are provided with free access to the multimedia portal, where they can watch films, listen to music, audio books and read e-books, which makes the trip more exciting," the press service noted.
Luggage space
The company reminded that on Talgo trains, passengers can carry luggage weighing up to 25 kilograms and measuring no more than 150 centimeters in the sum of length, width, and height for free.
"On standard trains, the permissible weight of hand luggage is up to 35 kilograms, and its dimensions are up to 200 centimeters in the sum of its length, width, and height," the press service reported.
First aid kit
According to the National Carrier's rules, each train conductor must have a first aid kit to provide first aid.
Consultations on the route and schedule
Passengers can receive free information about the route, schedule, and travel rules from conductors or through special information systems installed on trains, the press service noted.
