"We intend to establish closer cooperation with your country, and as President I will do everything possible to strengthen ties in all areas of mutual interest. We consider Slovenia as one of the main and very important partners of Kazakhstan in the Balkans. We have the opportunity to offer your businessmen, as well as the Government, several attractive projects," the Head of State noted.

As the President emphasized, Slovenia's direct investments in the Kazakh economy have reached almost 200 million dollars. 19 companies with Slovenian capital successfully operate in Kazakhstan in sectors such as pharmaceuticals, mechanical engineering, telecommunications and renewable energy.

In addition, Kazakhstan and Slovenia have great potential in the areas of transport, logistics, digitalization and innovation, healthcare and tourism.

The President of Slovenia expressed her sincere gratitude to Kassym-Jomart Tokayev for the warm welcome he gave her and her delegation.

"For 33 years since the establishment of diplomatic relations between our countries, there has not been a single unresolved issue. You rightly noted that this provides conditions for expanding and deepening economic cooperation. That is why a large business delegation came with me. They have already begun discussing promising areas of partnership with their Kazakh colleagues. Economic exchange is growing, but I still think we can achieve more. Contacts between presidents and politicians are always a step forward, because politicians must open doors for business," said Natasa Pirc Musar.

During the talks, an exchange of views also took place on a wide range of issues on the global and regional agenda.
