Tengrinews.kz - The President of Kazakhstan has spoken about accelerating the decision-making process regarding the construction of nuclear power plants.
The Head of State made this statement during a visit to the Project Office in Astana. The President specifically focused on the prospects of developing nuclear energy.
"Regarding the construction of nuclear power plants – we need to speed up. I already mentioned in an interview that we will build two large stations, possibly three. We must turn Kazakhstan into a country with a developed nuclear energy sector, a country where artificial intelligence operates and full digitalization is in place," concluded Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.
It is worth noting that on January 8, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev visited the Project Office and was briefed on the progress of strategically important projects, such as the implementation of platform solutions to improve fiscal sustainability, the development of the Mangystau region, and the formation and development of human capital.
