“We must go down in history as the generation of the Kazakh nation's Renaissance“ – Tokayev

Tengrinews.kz – Speaking at a scientific and practical conference dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the Constitution, President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev stated that the current generation is not just witnessing change but must become the driving force behind great achievements, according to Akorda.

“We must go down in history as the generation of the Kazakh people's revival. It is our responsibility to live in this era and shape the future of the country together. Our generation is not simply witnessing change — we must achieve great things ourselves. We must leave behind a developed, civilized, and lawful state for future generations. That is our historic duty. To achieve this, we are building a Fair, Honest, Safe, and Strong Kazakhstan. This is, ultimately, the essence of our national ideology,” the Head of State emphasized.

The President underlined that the main goal is to become an advanced and competitive nation, improve people’s well-being, maintain stability, and ensure social harmony.

“The Constitution is the sacred heritage of the Kazakh people, and every one of its articles must be strictly followed,” Kassym-Jomart Tokayev added.

Today the President spoke at the “Constitution and Statehood: Dialogue of Law and the Future” conference, held in honor of the Basic Law’s 30th anniversary.

He also noted that the Kazakh people have always lived by the laws of the Great Steppe. According to the President, the Constitution now enshrines principles that society has long called for.
