Tengrinews.kz - Shoppers were evacuated from Forum Almaty shopping mall following an anonymous bomb threat.

According to Almaty’s police department, a commission is currently inspecting the building in response to the message.

“Police officers, bomb squad specialists, and emergency services are working at the scene. We urge citizens to remain calm and avoid panic. Appropriate measures will be taken based on the results of the inspection,” the department’s press service stated.

Authorities also reminded the public that knowingly making a false report of a terrorist act is a criminal offense under Article 273 of Kazakhstan’s Criminal Code.
