Unusual natural phenomenon seen in Kazakhstan

Tengrinews.kz - A magnetic storm on Earth allowed Kazakhstanis to see the aurora borealis.

One of them, a resident of the Akmola region, Arman Abdrakhmanov, sent several photos to the editorial office that he took on the night of August 12-13.

From August 11 to 13, Kazakhstan residents will be able to observe the Perseid meteor shower.

The Perseid meteor shower and the aurora borealis are occurring due to the ongoing severe geomagnetic storm.
